TIMMINS POLICE TAKE PART IN “WELCOME TO TIMMINS NIGHT 2019”

The Timmins Police Service was well represented at the Welcome To Timmins Night for 2019 at the McIntyre Curling Club.

TPS officers and TPS Auxiliaries teamed up to welcome new and current resident at this event in an effort to make them aware of what services are offered by the Timmins Police Service.

This venue also allowed for the curious to be made aware of career opportunities and volunteering opportunities that exist with the Timmins Police Service.

General public safety information along with crime prevention tips were made available in print and verbally by Const. Dave Ainsworth and a number of TPS auxiliaries as well.

The Timmins Police Service Harley Davidson was a crowd favorite at the TPS display area as well.

Thanks to Const. Paul Colbey for shining the bike up and bringing it over as it was well-received at the event.

Timmins Police Service – Community Liasion Coordinator, Brenda Beaven was on hand to draw the winner of the TPS door prize: Frances Racicot of Timmins.
