While the Timmins Police Service Pipes and Drums Band represented the service with distinction at the Mac recently, another key aspect of community engagement by TPS was overlooked.
Local curler Leanna Delich and proud curling Dad Sergeant Marty Delich were honoured to be asked to escort the championship trophy onto the ice rink during the final matches.
Pictured are the father daughter team who added that little bit extra to the festivities.
Clearly the Delich family does know how to “hurry hard” when called upon !!
