TIMMINS POLICE SERVICE LEND A HAND TO ENHANCE SAFETY AT THE ANNUAL SANTA CLAUS PARADE

Once again this year, the Timmins Police took on the responsibility for public safety at the annual Santa Claus Parade to ensure an orderly roll out of floats.

Thanks in large part to officers who came forward and gave of their own free time as well as the actions of our volunteers, Special Constables and TPS Auxiliary Unit officers, things went off without a hitch.

Quoting Acting Chief Dacosta “These events require significant organization and commitment to ensure success and with the challenge of other ongoing operational requirements throughout the weekend things went well.”

Even the weatherman played along, which led to a well attended event
