TIMMINS POLICE RECIPIENT OF LOW-CAL GESTURE OF GOODWILL

Earlier this afternoon, Carter Chalmers, son of Staff Sergeant Tim Chalmers, who is an 11-year-old Anicet Morin School Grade 6 student attended the Timmins Police station.

While spending time at home in keeping with the Covid 19 public health restrictions, this young man decided to make solid use of his spare time.

Acting on his own, and using a “from scratch” recipe, he baked low cal chocolate cupcakes and distributed them to the staff and personnel here at the station.

He also prepared a Thank You message to as a gesture of appreciation and goodwill for front line and “behind the scenes” police personnel.

This act of selfless generosity even caught his father by surprise.
