Things are busy in the world of Community Policing but there is always time to make a lasting impression.
On Thursday, January 12th, all of the local high schools that participated in the Coop placement program attended the Dante Club for a banquet to celebrate recent student accomplishments.
As part of the banquet, Timmins Police Coop student Brandon Bergeron was one of two students (of all students who took co-op) that were chosen to prepare and deliver a speech in regards to their placement experiences.
Brandon represented Ecole Secondaire Catholique Theriault with distinction.
Equally, he represented the Timmins Police Service and boasted about his experiences and his desire to join the police.
He also thanked Sgt Carter for his support and guidance throughout.
Brandon also stated that he wants to apply as a TPS Auxiliary Officer, once he is of age and later move on to a full Constable.
Brandon definitely was prepared and stole the show according to attendees.
