The Timmins Police, and by extension, the TPS Indigenous Advisory Committee, is extending an invitation to attend an upcoming and culturally significant event: the 3rd annual lighting of the Tree of Hope.
This event is slated to take place at the Timmins Police station on November 12th at 6:00 p.m.
This ceremonial lighting of the Tree of Hope is meant to inspire awareness of the plight of Missing and Murdered Indigenous Women and Girls.
