TIMMINS POLICE ACKNOWLEDGE LONG SERVING PIPES AND DRUMS BAND MEMBERS FOR SELFLESS COMMUNITY ENGAGEMENT

The Timmins Police Service recently acknowledged the long standing and dedicated service provided to our community by the members of the Timmins Police Pipes and Drums Band.

Some were acknowledged last fall at the TPS Awards Ceremony with the presentation of some hardware by TPS Board Chair Rob Knox (former).

Other band members, who have achieved individual band service milestones, were acknowledged this week by Chief Dan Foy and Deputy Chief Henry Dacosta.

Each band member was the proud recipient of a TPS plaque acknowledging their respective years of service along with a Timmins Police challenge coin.

These volunteers generously and consistently give of their free time to bolster the image and reputation of the Timmins Police Service.

Their contributions are admirable and speak directly to their individual and collective sense of public engagement that seems to be in short supply lately.

The Timmins Police Service applauds each of these talented and driven band members and their individual milestones.
