The Timmins Police Service has charged a local man with drug related offences stemming from an incident that occurred during the late afternoon hours of Sunday, August 20th, at a local hotel in Timmins.
While attending at a call for service at a local hotel, the responding Timmins Police officer located the subject of the complaint and completed an arrest.
The subject was subsequently found to be in possession of a quantity of a controlled substance and Canadian currency and drug trade paraphernalia.
As a result of the incident, Tyler DAVIES, 31, of Timmins, has been charged with:
– Possession of a Controlled Substance for the Purpose of Trafficking contrary to the Controlled Drug and Substances Act
- Possession of Proceeds of Crime contrary to the Criminal Code of Canada
DAVIES remains in police custody awaiting a bail hearing slated for today at the Ontario Court of Justice in Timmins, to answer to the charges laid against him.
