TPS LOCATE AND ARREST 4TH ALLEGED DRUG TRAFFICKER

The Timmins Police Service has charged a Timmins man stemming from its ongoing investigation into alleged drug activity that resulted in the execution of search warrants in Timmins earlier this week.

Based on his alleged participation in the occurrence which yielded the seizure of nearly $130,000 (street value) of illicit controlled substances, Christopher CHEENA, 40, of Timmins, has been charged with 4 counts of Possession of a Controlled Substance for the Purpose of Trafficking contrary to the Controlled Drug and Substances Act.

The accused remains in police custody awaiting a bail hearing slated for this morning (Nov 30th) at Provincial Court in Timmins to answer to the charges laid against him.
