TIMMINS POLICE LEND HELPING HAND TO MADD CHAPTER WITH CHARITY MOTORCYCLE RUN

The local MADD chapter raised over $500 for toys and $1300 to foster MADD oriented community activities with a charity ride on Saturday with 53 motorcyclists taking part.

Participants from TPS included Constable Bill “Easy Rider” Martin as lead organizer, Amy St-Amour (TPS – Traffic) as co-organizer and avid MADD representative.

Constable Paul “training wheels” Colbey as the motorcycle procession lead, Auxiliary Rob “espresso” Ferri managing Traffic Control,

with Auxiliary Glen Simpson assisting with Traffic Control and Const Jonathan Goulet managing the MADD volunteers.

Riders included Justin Blain, Marc Depatie and Dean Bordignon (retired)

The organizers wish to acknowledge the assistance of NAPS officers who participated and contributed to Traffic Control duties as well.
