The Timmins Police Service has charged a local woman with a number of Criminal Code offences stemming from an incident which occurred in a hospital waiting room during the morning hours of Friday, November 19th.
The Timmins Police Service responded to a disturbance in progress involving a person who refused to vacate the premises as directed.
Upon police arrival, the female subject began yelling obscenities towards the responding officer and by-standers as well.
The officer completed an arrest and took the subject into custody.
As a result of the incident, Briana CABRAL, 28, of Timmins, has been charged with:
– Cause Disturbance contrary to the Criminal Code of Canada
– Utter Threats contrary to the Criminal Code of Canada
The accused remains in police custody awaiting a bail hearing slated for today at the Ontario Court of Justice to address the charges laid against her.
