TIMMINS POLICE CHARGE LOCAL WOMAN WITH BREACH OF RELEASE ORDER

The Timmins Police Service arrested a Timmins resident stemming from an incident where the suspect made contact with another person in direct violation of court-imposed conditions.

The Timmins Police Service has completed an investigation into a matter where a person who had been released from custody with strict conditions imposed upon her by the Provincial Court in Timmins not to communicate in any way with a specified person opted willingly to do so on two occasions.

The Timmins Police Service has determined that both of these breaches of court-imposed conditions, identical in nature, occurred on Wednesday, July 22nd.

As a result, Pamela KOOSEES, 36, of Timmins was taken into police custody yesterday and is charged with:

–       2 counts of Fail to Comply with Release Order contrary to the Criminal Code of Canada

The accused remains in police custody awaiting a bail hearing slated for this morning at Provincial Court in Timmins to answer to the criminal charges laid against her.
