TIMMINS POLICE CHARGE LOCAL MAN WITH THEFTS FROM BIG BOX STORE

The Timmins Police Service has charged a local person with theft related offences stemming from a series of incidents that occurred in June at a Riverside Drive retail store in Timmins.

Based on investigation and the use of video surveillance images, the Timmins Police was able to identify, locate, and arrest a male suspect who had attended the store on June 2nd, 6th, and again on the 10th, stealing merchandise on each occasion.

A total of over $900 worth of merchandise had been taken.

As a result of the incidents, Reece BULMER, 40, of Timmins, was arrested yesterday and is now charged with:

– 3 counts of Theft Under $5000 contrary to the Criminal Code of Canada

– 3 counts of Possession of Property Obtained by Crime contrary to the Criminal Code of Canada

BULMER remains in police custody awaiting a bail hearing slated for today at the Ontario Court of Justice in Timmins to answer to the charges laid against him.
