TIMMINS POLICE CHARGE LOCAL MAN WITH BREACH OF RELEASE ORDER

The Timmins Police Service arrested a Timmins resident stemming from an incident where the suspect was found to be in breach of court-imposed conditions listed in a Release Order.

During the early morning hours of June 19th, the Timmins Police Service attended at a Spruce Street South facility in regards to a disturbance in progress.

Once on scene, the subject of the complaint was located and interviewed.

Based on investigation, it was determined that the subject was bound by current court-imposed curfew restrictions which he was in breach of.

As a result, Patrick ETHERINGTON, 38, of Timmins was taken into police custody and is charged with:

  • 2 counts of Fail to Comply with Release Order contrary to the Criminal Code of Canada

The accused remains in police custody awaiting a bail hearing slated for this morning at the Ontario Court of Justice in Timmins to answer to the criminal charges laid against him.
