A Timmins resident has been charged following an incident involving a 4 year-old child.
On March 10, 2017, a local child protection agency reported a fracture sustained by a 4 year-old victim. Upon further investigation into the incident, the injury was believed to have been caused by an assault committed on the child by his father.
On May 5, a 25 year-old Timmins man was arrested by the Timmins Police Service and charged with Assault Causing Bodily Harm. He was released on a Promise to Appear in court with a future date of July 11, 2017.
As per standard practice, to protect the identity of the victim, the accused’s name cannot be released.
