Police seeking assistance in identifying robbery suspect

On April 3, 2018, at approximately 12:30 a.m., Timmins Police officers responded to a robbery at Mac’s convenience store in Schumacher.

The incident is being investigated by members of the Criminal Investigations Section. Reports indicated that a female suspect entered the store brandishing a weapon, and demanded cash from the cash register. An undisclosed amount of currency was obtained before the suspect fled from the store. Fortunately no injuries were sustained as a result of the incident.

The suspect has not yet been identified by police, however security footage has been obtained. The suspect is described as a Caucasian female, wearing a light grey hooded sweatshirt with “BAUER” on the front. She was wearing large black sunglasses, a hood, and black pants.
