Police seek assistance in pedestrian fail to remain collision

On February 14, 2018, a resident reported being struck by a vehicle at the intersection of Algonquin Blvd. and Spruce St. The collision occurred at approximately 5:55 p.m., and the vehicle involved left the scene. Fortunately the pedestrian did not suffer injuries as a result of the collision.

The vehicle police believe was involved in the collision appears to be an older model Toyota Sienna passenger van, grey or silver in colour, with what appears to be a breast cancer sticker on the rear, right ‘D’ pillar section of the van.

Investigating officers are looking to speak to the driver of the vehicle in relation to this collision. Anyone having any information about the incident is asked to contact the Timmins Police Service at 705-264-1201.
