Police lay Breach charges

On January 9, police were called to a residence in Timmins regarding unwanted persons. Upon arrival on scene, officers located an individual who they knew to be bound by several conditions. The accused fled from police on scene, however was located by officers a short time later.

Upon further investigation, police confirmed that the individual was bound by both a Recognizance of Bail and a Probation order, with conditions to remain in his residence at all times, not to consume alcohol, and to keep the peace and be of good behaviour. The accused was found to be in breach of these conditions.

As a result, Reno WESLEY, 21, of Timmins faces charges of:

  • Fail to Comply with Recognizance x 2
  • Fail to Comply with Probation Order x 5

Wesley was held in custody pending a bail hearing scheduled for today, January 10, 2018 at Provincial court.
