Charges laid following break & enter at A&W Restaurant

On June 28, police responded to a call regarding a break and enter at A&W Restaurant in Timmins. Investigation revealed that at approximately 4 a.m., an individual entered the restaurant and allegedly took multiple cash boxes.

An investigation was completed by members of the Criminal Investigation Section, with the assistance of Forensic Identification officers who attended and processed the scene. Police have identified and charged an individual. Police also learned that the accused was bound by a probation order, with conditions to keep the peace and be of good behaviour. Joshua GREXTON, 25, of Timmins was charged with Break, Enter and Commit Indictable Offence, Possession of Property Obtained by Crime, and Breach of Probation.

Grexton was held in custody pending his future court date of August 29, 2017.
