They possess the necessary qualities required to aptly and enthusiastically take on the position of youth ambassador

They will be deployed throughout the summer to organize events and enhance community undertakings.

Please welcome the “YIPPIES” for 2019

From left to right, and between Const Rick Lemieux and Const. Bill Field we have:

Leah Blain, an 18-year-old O’gorman grad who is pursuing her post-secondary education at Laurentian University in Sudbury.

Brooke Gauthier is a 15-year-old young lady from Theriault wh0 is seeking to pursue a career in law.

An avid dancer and traveler, her favorite team is the Raptors and she wants Kawhi to resign as soon as possible.

Jeff Bonsall, is a 15-year-old Theriault student who is still pondering his future plans.

He is an avid athlete and Leaf fan who hopes to overturn the recent trade involving Nazim Kadri -good luck with that.

Lauren Deacon, is a 17-year-old Roland Michener student who hopes to achieve a Police Foundations parchment in order to pursue a career in law enforcement.

She is a returning youth ambassador and last year’s experience in the YIPPIE program helped solidify her career aspirations. .

Lastly, we have Chloe Chilton, a 15-year-old TH and VS student who will be pursuing post-secondary education in the field of Health Sciences.

She once attended a Rush concert and has seen the Tragically Hip in concert as well. She’s an old soul in terms of the fact that she collects vinyl records.

She is an avid Blue Jays fan so this may be a long summer for her.

In any event, these are the 2019 Timmins Police Youth Ambassadors. They will be eagerly working to solidify the reputation of the Timmins Police.
