TIMMINS POLICE EXECUTE SEARCH WARRANT – SEIZE STOLEN GOODS, DRUGS, AND PELLET GUNS

The Timmins Police Service has charged 4 persons with theft related offences stemming from an incident that occurred yesterday morning at a Schumacher apartment building.

Timmins Police Service officers responded to a call for service yesterday regarding the theft of a cell phone that had occurred the day before.

Based on the investigation, the responding officers were able to determine the location of the stolen phone within an apartment in Schumacher.

As a result, a Search Warrant was executed at a Grant Street address where four persons were taken into custody.

The Timmins Police located the stolen cell phone, two pellet guns, and a stolen dirt bike in the residence.

In addition, the Timmins Police located individually wrapped packets of crystal methamphetamine, heroin, methamphetamine, and 225 methamphetamine tablets.

As a result of the incident, Victor WESLEY, 31, Devin ETHERINGTON, 31, Felicia NAKOGEE, 34, and McKenna NAKOGEE, 19, of Timmins, have been charged respectively with:

– 2 counts of Possession of Property Obtained by Crime contrary to the Criminal Code of Canada

McKenna NAKOGEE has been released from police custody on the strength of an Undertaking compelling her to attend at Provincial Court in Timmins on August 18th to answer to the charges laid against her.

Victor WESLEY is further charged with:

–       Possession of a Firearm contrary to a Probation Order contrary to the Criminal Code of Canada

–       4 counts of Possession of a Controlled Substance for the Purpose of Trafficking contrary to the Controlled Drug and Substances Act

WESLEY remains in police custody awaiting a Bail Hearing slated for today at Provincial Court in Timmins to answer to the charges laid against him.

Devin ETHERINGTON is further charged with:

–           4 counts of Possession of a Controlled Substance for the Purpose of Trafficking contrary to the Controlled Drug and Substances Act

Felicia NAKOGEE is further charged with:

–       2 counts of Fail to Comply with Release Order contrary to a Probation Order contrary to the Criminal Code of Canada

–       Possession of a Firearm contrary to a Probation Order contrary to the Criminal Code of Canada

–       Theft Under $5000 contrary to the Criminal Code of Canada

Felicia NAKOGEE remains in police custody awaiting a Bail Hearing slated for today at Provincial Court in Timmins to answer to the charges laid against her.
