TIMMINS POLICE NO LONGER SEEKING FOURTH SUSPECT INVOLVED IN ROBBERY

The Timmins Police Service has arrested and charged 3 local men with Robbery stemming from an early morning incident where a 32-year-old man was assaulted and had personal property stolen from him.

The incident occurred during the early morning hours of July 2nd on Wilcox Street in Timmins.

A man was making his way home when he was confronted by 4 men who had been following him and taunting him verbally.

The incident escalated to the point where all four of the suspects assaulted the man and stole some of his personal property.

Responding Timmins Police Service officers located 2 of the suspects a short distance from the scene and took the men into custody that morning.

As a result of the incident, Justice GUSTAFSON, 20, of Timmins, and Blake RICKARD, 19, of South Porcupine have been charged with:

  • Robbery with Violence contrary to the Criminal Code of Canada

They were released from police custody on the strength of an Undertaking compelling them to attend at the Ontario Court of Justice in Timmins on August 24th to answer to the respective charges laid against them.

A third suspect, Josh TULL, 22, of South Porcupine was arrested on July 10th and charged with:

–        Robbery with Violence contrary to the Criminal Code of Canada

He was released from police custody on the strength of an Undertaking compelling him to attend at the Ontario Court of Justice in Timmins on August 24th to answer to the charge laid against him.

The Timmins Police is no longer seeking to identify and locate the 4th male suspect as he has turned himself in
