The Timmins Police Services Board is pleased to announce the release of recruitment incentives for new and experienced officers.
The Experienced Officer Campaign offers a $30,000 recruitment incentive to all experienced officers who apply to and successfully join the Timmins Police Service ranks between March 7, 2023 and May 15, 2023.
All officers with at least three years of experience from a recognized Canadian police service are eligible to receive this benefit. The campaign is designed to attract experienced, qualified law enforcement professionals to the Timmins Police Service who will bring their expertise and dedication to the City.
The Timmins Police Service is committed to providing the highest quality of service to the citizens of Timmins and surrounding area, and the Experienced Officer Campaign is an important part of that mission.

The Timmins Police Services Board is also pleased to announce the launch of its Ontario Police College (OPC) Tuition Reimbursement Program.
New officers who join the Timmins Police Service between March 7, 2023, and December 31, 2024, and graduate from the Ontario Police College in 2023 or 2024 will receive, as a hiring incentive, a one-time payment equal to their tuition fees.
The OPC Tuition Reimbursement Program is designed to provide financial assistance to new officers who are starting their law enforcement careers. The Timmins Police Service is committed to providing the highest quality of service to the citizens of
