INCIDENT ON PINE NORTH LEADS TO THE ARREST OF THREE PERSONS

The Timmins Police Service has charged three local persons with Being Unlawfully in a Dwelling offences stemming from an incident that occurred during the late morning hours of Friday, October 20th, at a Pine North residence in Timmins.

The Timmins Police Service responded to a call for service where three suspects had unlawfully gained entry in to a residence.

A concerned citizen called the Timmins Police Service to report the matter.

Responding Timmins Police officers arrived on scene to find three persons within the dwelling illegally and arrested all three suspects without incident.

Two of three suspects were found to be in possession of controlled substances.

One of the suspects was found to be in possession of stolen goods.

As a result of the incident, Kayla SUTHERLAND, 23, Conrad GRAY, 29 and Garrett RICKARD, 29, each of no fixed address in Timmins, are charged respectively with Being Unlawfully in a Dwelling House contrary to the Criminal Code of Canada

SUTHERLAND is further charged with:

– Possession of Property Obtained by Crime contrary to the Criminal Code of Canada

– 2 counts of Possession of a Controlled Substance contrary to the Controlled Drug and Substances Act

RICKARD is further charged with:

  • 3 counts of Possession of a Controlled Substance contrary to the Controlled Drug and Substances Act

Each charged person was released from police custody on the strength of respective Undertakings compelling their appearance at the Ontario Court of Justice in Timmins in December to answer to the respective charges laid against them.
