Crime Stoppers and the Timmins Police Service need your help in solving an armed robbery.
On November 11th 2016, at approximately 05:15 hrs, an armed robbery occurred at the Mac’s convenience store located at 60 Dwyer in Schumacher, in the city of Timmins.
The store clerk was mopping the back of the store when he noticed the lone male suspect in a blue hoody standing by the check-out desk, located at the front of the store.
The clerk approached the suspect and noticed he was wearing a ski mask. The suspect pulled a large machete from behind his back and requested the teller’s money. The clerk barricaded himself in the back of the store and waited for police to arrive.
A search of the immediate area was conducted by a police K-9 team.
